Will the world still exist when I die?
Or is it all just in my mind?
Our senses filter reality
We only see what we are allowed to see
Maybe by chance
Maybe by design
Either way we're given life for short time
Why does everything die everytime I close my eyes
Ideas no longer perceived
Return to shapeless forms
Falling back into existence
When I perceive them once more
Once more
What am I really seeing
What lies behind the mask
Behind the lie of its shape and its mass
The answers elude me
Even in my sleep
When I dream I can only see what I've already seen
I can not create
Only redesign
Move
Break
Bend and snap
Pre-drawn lines
I can not create
Only redesign
Who or what is the artist behind these lines
Will the world still exist when I die?
Or is it all just in my mind?
Are we here through chance?
Are we here by design?
Either way we're all gonna die
I don't have the answers
To life's greatest mysteries
All I know is life in the phaneron
Can't be all there is to see
Will the world still exist when I die?
Or is it all just in my mind?
Our senses filter reality
Will the world still exist when I die?

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
